The primary focus of sustainability and governance research cluster is twofold: ​

• To carry out research and analysis on a wide range of economic, social and environmental related practices. ​
• To share knowledge and promote understanding about sustainability and governance related issues. ​

This research cluster also focuses on the following targets: ​

• To promote and create awareness on the importance of sustainability and governance to various stakeholder groups through research, capacity building, sharing of information and exchanges of experiences via various platforms including forums, dialogues, seminars and conferences. ​
• To undertake collaborative sustainability and governance related research with other Faculties/Centres/Universities/ Organization​

SMA Research Cluster was established to gather all SMA-related researchers at the Faculty of Accountancy, UiTM Selangor, and branch campuses. ​

SMA includes SMA practices and tools, Strategic Management, Environmental Management Accounting (EMA), Management Accounting and Control System, Performance Management System, and other Management Accounting related research potential. ​

The members of this cluster are expected to venture into different focuses such as research grants, publication, patent and copyright, consultancies/industrial linkages and professional engagements. ​​

AC-UiTM is a one stop centre for tax related research aim to inculcate research culture and promote research works through publications, innovation, training, seminars, consultancy and collaborations via a wider social network engagement with professional and academic tax community​
